East Bay Center for the Performing Arts ... - Richmond Calendar...
Freedom Change is a new work of the Iron Voices Project, an ongoing public dialogue about race and opportunity with a special focus on young men and boys of color, led by East Bay Center in coordination with a wide range of local partners.
In a society that accepts the routine incarceration and release of young men and boys of color, one young man finds himself locked up for a crime he didn’t commit. Following each performance, there will be a facilitated dialogue with actors, creators, and the public around our collective response to the questions posed by the work – especially as it relates to our community here in Richmond.
