Salavat Fidai is a passionate artist beside his incredible talent in various art forms.

Salavat Fidai was born in a small village at the foot of Ural Mountains in Russia. Being raised in a family of art teachers, Salavat had been interested in the visual art since childhood.

As he grew up, he didn’t believe that he can make a living out of creative skill.

So, he entered law faculty, graduated and worked for more than 20 years in trading companies. Salavat was extremely successful. He even had a senior position in a prestigious company.

But there was something missing. His successful career could not satisfy him.

He then bravely left his job to chase his dream in art.

In early , Salavat returned to his forgotten passion of carving. He discovered a new medium which is graphite pencil.

Graphite is an extremely brittle material and often break during process, but that is the interesting part for Salavat.
